Olive "Jean" McConahy age 82, of Green and recently of Fort Myers, FL passed peacefully and entered heaven on October 10, 2017 after a brief illness. Jean was born in Chicora, PA on December 5, 1934 to LaVerne and Susan Horton. She resided in the Akron and Green area most of her life with her husband Earl McConahy with whom she spent 40 years together until his passing in 1994. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Robert Crute and three brothers.  She leaves behind four children Robert (Renee) McConahy of Oxford, MI; Robin (Paul) Lucchesi of Uniontown, OH; Regina Vasiloff of Dublin, OH; and Richard (Cheryl) McConahy of Fort Myers, FL. , 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 13, 2017 at Heitger Funeral Home, Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave N.W., Massillon, Ohio  44646 at 10:00 AM. Calling hours will be Thursday (TONIGHT) October 12, 2017 from 5 to 7 PM and one hour prior to services Friday. Internment will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
