IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Otto
Rambaud
February 8, 1924 – November 15, 2025
After more than 12 years of being apart, Otto and Arlene are together again. Our mother left us March 8, 2013. Our father joined her November 15, 2025, at the age of 101. They had been married over 67 years.
Their lives revolved around their children, Dennis (Carol) Rambaud, Susan (Terry) Reese, and Karen (Bill) Wonsick; grandchildren, Michelle (Mark) Pamer, Dennis (Lisa) Rambaud, Chad (Jen) Reese, Brett (Katie) Reese, Nathaniel (April) Wonsick, Tiffany Wonsick (BJ Burick) , and Amy (Bryan) Mutchler; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Arlene was born March 17, 1923, daughter of the late Susie and Jacob Moesle.
Otto was born February 8, 1924, and was the son of the late Otto and Ruthlene Rambaud.
Otto spent over two years in the South Pacific building airstrips during WWII. He was a Sergeant in the Army and received three bronze stars for his duty in the Pacific Theater.
Otto retired in 1983 from the former Republic Steel Corporation where he was an electrician and foreman. He was a great woodworker, making beautiful furniture and carving magnificent birds and animals.
Arlene was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and doing things for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
They enjoyed traveling in their RV for 25 years, spending winters in Florida and Arizona.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
