Patricia L. Karlalcis, age 81, of Massillon, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at Orrville Pointe following an extended illness.
She was born December 3, 1936, in Massillon the daughter of the late Willis and Josephine (Wetzel) Barnes.
Patricia was a volunteer at the former Doctors Hospital and was sexton at Newman Baptist Cemetery.  She enjoyed bowling, fishing, and gardening.  She was an avid Massillon Tiger Football Fan.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard Karlalcis of Massillon; daughter, Candice "Candy" Douglas and fiance' Jeffery Richardson of Hamilton, MT; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Terry Searles of North Lawrence; brothers, Kim Higgs, Kerm Higgs; sisters, Laurabell Rushe and Lisa Croston all of Canton;  grandchildren Jason (Courtney) Combs, Joe (Liz) Combs, and Danny Combs; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Keith and Julius "Bob" Barnes; and sister, Linda Jo Ohler.
A private memorial service will be held by the family.
