Patrick P. McMillan, age 76, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at his residence in Massillon.

He was born April 3, 1937, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Kearney) McMillan.

He was an Army veteran. Patrick retired from the City of Massillon after 35 years of service.

He was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church, Massillon Moose #481, Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree #554. Patrick loved everything about Massillon and his Tiger Football and didn't miss a game since 1965.

Patrick is survived by three daughters, Ann (Ray) Schumacher, Maura (Terry) Phlieger, Sheila (Rich) Coffman, two sisters, Mary (Albert) McFarlane and Margaret McKenna; and one brother, Joe (Bernadette) McMillan; sister-in-law, Vera McCreanor; aunt, Bridget Mahon; two granddaughters, Briana and Rachel Schumacher and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Kathleen (McCreanor) McMillan; brother, Eamonn McMillan.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 12 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE, with a prayer vigil service at 3:45 PM and a Knights of Columbus service at 6 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at St. Barbara Catholic Church, 2813 Lincoln Way West, at 10:00 AM with Rev. Thomas Cebula celebrant.

Burial at St. Barbara's Cemetery, Massillon, with military honors.
