Paul J. Kundrod, age 94 of Massillon, passed away at Meadow Wind Health Care Center on Sunday, July 24, 2011 following a lengthly illness. He was born December 12, 1916 in Hannastown, PA and was son of the late John and Mary (Papson) Kundrod. Paul J. He was born December 12, 1916 in Hannastown, PA and was son of the late John and Mary (Papson) Kundrod.

Paul was a veteran of WWII where he served in the Navy. He retired in 1986 from the former Republic Steel Corporation where he worked in the main offices in Massillon and Cleveland. He attended St. Mary Catholic Church and was a member of the Elks. He enjoyed golfing and collecting shells.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years Connie Kundrod, son James Kundrod of Harleyville, PA, daughter Bonnie J. Weisser of Gainesville, FL, and five grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 11 A.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel with Fr. Robert Miller officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 A.M. prior to the services.

Pauls cremains will be intered in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery in Greensburg PA at the convenience of the family.
