Raymond Theodore Pachuta Sr, age 80, died Monday, March 14, 2016 at Rose Lane Health Care Center.

He was born March 20, 1935, in Massillon the son of the late John (Mary) Pachuta and birth mother, Anna (Krozier) Pachuta.

Ray was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

He retired from JMI Pharmaceutical after many years of service.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Ray enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and hunting.

Ray is survived by his wife Evelyn (Lint) Pachuta; son, Raymond (Mary) Pachuta Jr. of Marietta; daughter, Debbie (Billy) Hider of Massillon; half sister, Eleanor Mittler of Elyria; niece, Brenda (Ken) Burgess; three grandchildren, Dustin Hendricks, Justin Hendricks, Cierra Hendricks; 6 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 322 Third St. S.E., Massillon, OH 44646.
