Reenie Ellen Kirby, age 45, died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at her residence in Massillon after a four year battle with cancer.

She was born November 1, 1966 in Massillon, the daughter of Glenda (Slutz) and Forest McCune Sr.

She worked for EB Wire Works and previously at Sterilite. Reenie loved to go fishing, playing cards, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents she is survived by husband, Jerry Kirby; son, Christopher Lee Kirby; daughter, Amber Jean Glenda Kirby all of Massillon; brother, Forest McCune Jr. of Massillon, half brothers, Don McCune of Kimbolten, Johnny McCune of Beach City; two sisters, Brenda Baker of Brewster, Lori Mills of Holmes County; half sisters, Jeanie Hayes of Navarre and Rena McCune of Perry Twp.

She was preceded in death by sister, Ruth Rhodes.

Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel 639 First St NE, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dave Adkins officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
