Age 54, passed away on Sept. 23, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 5, 1956 to Elmer (Pep) and Norma (Maxhimer) Borell. She was predeceased by her parents and grandparents, Raymond and Relda Maxhimer and Andrew and Gertrude Borell.

Relda is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Matthew Hoffman; daughter, Lisa Limbach (Kevin Hill) and grandson, Keith Hill. She is also survived by a sister, Sharen Borell of Massillon; four brothers, Greg (Shirley) Borell of Brewster, Raymond, Dennis (Ginger) and David (Diane) Borell, all of Massillon; many nieces and nephews in the area and Hawaii; and many lifelong friends and acquaintances. She will also be missed by her loyal dog, Maggie. Relda graduated in 1975 from Tuslaw High School and worked at the J.M. Smucker Company for over 30 years retiring in 2010. She was a member of the Army-Navy #207, The Eagles #190 and the V.F.W.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011 at Heitger Funeral Home in Massillon from 5 to 7 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 7 p.m. Rev. Ivan Musgrove will officiate.
