Richard "Dick" Paul Boerner, age 86, of Massillon passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013.

He was born July 10, 1926, in Massillon the son of the late Robert J. Boerner and Gladys (Kelly) Schneider.

Dick was a WWII veteran serving with the Army.

He was owner of Boerner Sunoco Gas Station and he retired in 1987 from K&H Auto Repair in Seaside, California.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Dick is survived by wife, Marilyn Boerner; three sons, Stanley (Ashley) Boerner, Robert J. (Lorraine) Boerner, and Richard Boerner; six daughters, Candice Warren, Susan (Gary) Lee, Martha Dickson, Mary (Steve) Furlong, Catherine (Donald) Lawson, Patricia (Matthias) Huenerwadel; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; half brother, Robert Boerner.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Stanley Walter Boerner Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with Rev. Edward Gretchko celebrant. As per his wishes no visitation will be held.

Burial at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Massillon, Ohio.
