Rita Ann Hester, age 67 of Massillon, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 3, 2025 at home surrounded by her family. She was born August 7, 1957, in West Union, WV. Ann owned and operated a cleaning business for many years. She enjoyed trips to the beach, puzzles, crocheting, listening to TuPac, and celebrating life with her grandchildren and family. Ann is survived by her children, Charlene (Craig) Turkalj, Kraigg (Denise) Hoffman, Lisa (Chris) Englebrecht; two sisters, Karen (Don) Ballone, Kathy (Tracey) Freetage; five grandchildren, Sha'Lyn, Shelby, Weston, Bobby, and Mae; four great-grandchildren, Christopher, Luciano, Maisie Rae, and Bodhi; and her faithful companion, Rooney. She was preceded in death by mother, Gerrie Adams; brother, David Bates; husband, Bernie Hester; and her two special grandmothers. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
