Robert D. Adkins, age 57, of Brewster, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born March 22, 1968, in Massillon and was the son of the late Lowell and Elizabeth (Swan) Adkins. Robert retired from the Bell Stores in Brewster. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Lauri Adkins; son, Robert Adkins Jr. (Emily); step-son, Robert Fleming Jr.; step-daughter, Katie Chandler (Tre'Von); grandchildren, Jackson, Nicholas II, Nathan, Russell Jr., Elizabeth, Tre'Lynn, Tre'Von, Jr., and Tae'Lynn; in-laws, Ray and LaVonne Heitger; uncle, Perry Swan; cousin, Holly Griffin; dog, Margaret; and cat, Olive. He is preceded in death by his sister-in-law Brenda Heitger. The family will celebrate his life at a gathering to be held at a later date. His final place of rest will be Welty Cemetery.
