Robert H. Conley, age 83 of Massillon, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Sprenger Health Care. He was born February 2, 1938, in Punxsutawney, PA the son of the late Raymond and Helen (Gardner) Conley. Robert was a retired foundry worker at United Foundries after 34 years of service. "Never a minute late nor missed a day of work!" He was a life member of 47 Clinton Lodge Shriners and Masons; Massillon Senior Center, Brewster Moose, and Philomatheon Society for the Blind.  He traveled to all 50 States and 40 different countries. Robert is survived by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Conley; daughter, Julie (Gary) Schmitt; siblings, Ronald (Sharon) Conley, Richard (Shirley) Conley, Sandy Beck; brother-in-law, Paul (Marilyn) Berdel. He was preceded in death by sisters, Phyllis Hoffman, Doris Montgomery, and Bonnie Jean Conley. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, Massillon, at 1pm. Calling hours will be held an hour prior to the service from Noon to 1pm. Burial to follow the service at Calvary Mausoleum in Massillon.
