Robert F. Cramer, age 90 of Canton, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022.

He was born May 1, 1932, in Monroeville, Ohio, the son of the late Frank and Mary (Martin) Cramer.

Bob retired from Lockheed Martin (Goodyear Aerospace) after 40 years of service as an electrical engineer.  He served his country as a member of the United States Coast Guard. Bob was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and the North Canton Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed bowling, playing golf, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. Bob was an all-around handy man and avid home groundskeeper. His easy-going demeanor and calm presence made him a good friend and loving husband, father and grandad.

Bob is survived by his children, daughter Bena Kluegel (Scott), son Philip Cramer (Jennifer) and daughter Rebecca Sibert (Steve). He is also survived by three granddaughters, Eleanor, Emma and Zoe Kluegel; grandson Benjamin Sibert; three sisters, Arlene Bores, Janice Cramer and Karen Powers; and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Mary Ann Cramer, and his three sisters, Mary Alice Lavey, Virginia Stoll and Leona Esser.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3430 St. Michaels Blvd. NW, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Benson Okpara celebrant. Calling hours will be held prior to the mass at Heitger Funeral Home, Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. NW, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Burial to follow the mass at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens in North Canton with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater East Ohio Chapter or to Meals on Wheels of Northeast Ohio, Stark County.
