Robert J. Guiffre, age 85 of Jackson Twp., passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Rose Lane Health Center with his family at his side.

He was born Oct 18, 1930 in Massillon, son of the late Anthony and Josephine (George) Guiffre.

Robert retired from the former Republic Steel Corporation where he worked in the shipping division of Enduro.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Robert is survived by sons Daniel Guiffre of Massillon and Kenneth (Diane) Guiffre of Beach City, daughters, Helen (Mike) Campisi of Massillon, Pam Guiffre (Larry Bradley) of Perry Twp., Marianne Cooper of Massillon and Janine (Mike) Evans of AZ, sisters Rose Hayden and Antionette (Dan) Unklesbay both of Massillon, 30 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Robert D. Guiffre and brother Ross Guiffre, previous wife, Johnnine Guiffre.

Graveside services for Robert will be held on Friday, Jan. 15th at Oakwood Cemetery at 1 PM.
