Robert F. Kilway, age 95 of Massillon, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born September 27, 1928, in Massillon, the son of the late James and Nellie (Zuber) Kilway. Bob was a graduate of Massillon Washington High School Class of 1946. He was an Army veteran serving in Korea. Bob retired in 1991 and had worked at Grisom-Russell, Babcock-Wilcox, and Seifert Technologies. He was a member of Divine Mercy Parish - St. Mary Campus, Eagles Aerie #190, Sons of Herman, Tiger Booster Club, 50+ year member of Benchwarmers Basketball Booster Club, Orangemen, and Tiger Sideliners. Bob is survived by his wife, Donna (Earl) Kilway; daughter, Patti (Gary)Schwitzgable; step-grandchildren, Christopher Worley, Patty Whitcomb; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by step-son, Ron Worley; siblings, Helen Kilway, James A. Kilway, Pauline Schmader, Ruth Kilway, and Mary Kilway. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Divine Mercy Parish - St. Mary Campus, 206 Cherry Rd. NE at 11:30 am with The Very Rev. James E. Sheridan J.C.L., V.F. celebrant. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel,639 1st St NE, from 10:00 am to 11:15 am. Burial to follow the service at Calvary Cemetery in Massillon.
