Robert L. May, age 78 of Massillon, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023.
He was born April 11, 1945, the son of  the late George and Verda (Long) May.
Robert was a heavy equipment operator and had worked at Strabley Building Supply.  He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing and had been a member of the Massillon Moose.
Robert is survived by his son, Jerry (LaVerne) May; daughters, Robin (Todd) Hoskinson and Lisa (Dave) Vogt; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Cathy May and brother Glen May.
Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Heitger Funeral Home - JACKSON CHAPEL from 6 to 7 P.M.  Funeral Service will immediate follow beginning at 7 P.M.  His final place of rest will be Brookfield Cemetery.
