Robert A. Peplinski, age 91, of Jackson Twp., passed away peacefully at his home on August 19, 2023. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bob was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired after a long career in the packaging industry, where his work generated a patent. He was a member of SS. Philip and James Catholic Church. His hobbies included golfing, bowling, playing cards, fishing, and traveling. Bob's family was the most important part of his life and he is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lois Peplinski; son and daughter-in-law, David and Kim Peplinski; daughter and son-in-law, Lindy and Mitch Baer; son and daughter-in-law, Lee Peplinski and Krista Wohlwend; grandchildren, Megan Peplinski (Luke Straughan), Brooke Peplinski, Paige Peplinski, Olivia Baer (Isaac Daffron), Jenna Baer. Bob will be greatly missed by family, friends, and his two beloved cats, Apollo and Bandit. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at SS. Philip and James Catholic Church in Canal Fulton, at 10 A.M. with Fr. Thomas Cebula celebrant. His final place of rest will be the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
