IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Roberta F.
Mani
September 4, 1950 – October 28, 2022
Roberta F. Mani, age 72, of Massillon passed away peacefully on October 28th, 2022, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with lung disease.
She was born in Canton to the late Robert and Elizabeth (Lawson) Shuman.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She went to Canton City Schools where she attended McKinley High School; after high school she met and married her husband and spent most of her career as a homemaker. Outside the home, she obtained her state tested nurse's aide license and worked alongside her oldest daughter in the late 80's at both Country Lawn nursing home and Hanover House. During the 90's, she worked as a sales rep and supervisor for Royal Car Wash where she then worked alongside her sons and many family members. However, the roles she enjoyed the most and cherished dearly were those of being wife, mother, and grandmother where she simply excelled.
Her interests included watching her favorite reality television shows such as Judge Judy and Survivor, enjoying attending and watching NASCAR races with her husband and grandson. Her absolute favorite way to spend her time was just being with and taking care of family.
Roberta is survived by her husband of 54 years, Harley Mani Sr.; daughters, Traci (Brian) Cooper, Bobbie (Rick) Hebert, Amy (Thomas) Hogge; sons, Michael (Clara) Mani, Harley Jr. (Jennifer) Mani; grandchildren, Brian, Melissa, William, Zachariah, Heaven, Samantha, Tyler, Logan, and Mason; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Zoe, and Xzavier; sisters, Jean, Kathy, and Bonnie; brother, Bruce; many nieces nephews, and her spoiled dog, Cinnamon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Marie; great-granddaughter, Kinsley; sisters, Sandy, Dee, Terri, and Pam; brothers, Danny, Kenny, Larry, and Robby.
Roberta's family will receive friends on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, Massillon from 6PM to 7PM with a memorial service to follow at 7PM.
