Roland T. Wise, age 54, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 9, 2012.

He was born July 9, 1957, the son of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Meyer) Wise. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Pat Wise, nephew Jeff Wise and Uncle Eugene Wise.

Rollie was the custodian at St. Barbara Catholic Church for over 35 years. He was a member of Massillon Moose and enjoyed baseball and softball.

He is survived by brothers Gordon Wise, Edward (Debbie) Wise and Kenneth Wise all of Massillon, sisters Barbara (Jim) Zimmerman, Diane (Wally) Tessanne, Sharon (Frank) Cornelius, all of Massillon and Dorothy (Scott) Davis of Shreve, Ohio, ten nieces and three nephews and 22 great nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at Heitger Funeral Home, Massillon Chapel, on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 5 to 8 P.M. with a prayer vigil at 4:45 P.M.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 1 :30 P.M. at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Interment will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association or St. Barbara Cemetery Fund, 2813 Lincoln Way W. Massillon, Ohio 44647.
