Ronald E. Dill, age 72 of Perry Twp., passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011 following a lengthy illness. He was born in Canton on March 28, 1938 and was son of the late Rolland and Dorothy (Kohlhoff) Dill. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Ronnie retired in 1989 from Stark Industrial where he was a tool grinder for 26 years.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Carol (Lynn) Dill, son and daughter-in-law Patrick and Sue Dill of Perry Twp., granddaughter Laura Dill, sisters Shirley Shafer of Massillon and Edith Bricker of Canton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Brian Dill who died in 1998.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 11 A.M. at HEITGER FUNERAL SERVICE - JACKSON CHAPEL with Pastor Lynn Williamson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home and again on Monday from 10:30 to 11 A.M. prior to the service.
