Ronald E. Eberhardt, age 75, of Massillon passed away December 3, 2012 at Akron General Hospital after a sudden illness.

He was born January 5, 1937 in Massillon, the son of the late Clyde A. and Alfaretta (Kurtz) Eberhardt.

He retired from Twin City Hospital where he was an accountant. He was still active as the financial secretary for Knights of Columbus 554.

Ronald was a life long member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Bishop Massillon Assembly.

He is survived by his wife for 51 years, Nancy Eberhardt, son, Ronald Jr. (Suzanne Dively) of Canton; daughter, Ruthanne (Ray) Tombow of Massillon; son, Michael (Jeanne) Eberhardt of Canal Winchester; daughter, Diane Limbach (Eric Moser) of Canton; grandchildren, Jon (Audry) and Brandon (Jesse) Butchko, Dakota Tombow, Neal and Halle Limbach, Weston Eberhardt, Trace, Nathen, and Brett Eberhardt; great-grandchildren, Dustin and Lillyan; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held December 7, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church at 1 PM. with Rev. Edward Gretchko celebrant.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE, from 6PM-8PM with a Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree service at 6 PM.

Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Massillon.
