Ronald R. Green, age 67 of North Lawrence passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. He was born December 30, 1945 in Ada, Oklahoma and had lived here since 1950. He retired from Massillon City Schools as Assistant Superintendent in 1998. More recently he was Marketing Director for Home Helpers of Barberton.

Ron was a member of Masonic Lodge Knights Templar Hiram Chapter 18. He was a true sports fan and an avid golfer.

Ron is survived by his wife of 39 years, Becky (Sheak) Green of North Lawrence, daughters and sons-in-law Jen and Ben Liebermann and Kelly and Matt Dallas and grandsons Carter and Anderson Dallas all of Massillon, brother Don (Judy) Green of Massillon and sister Norma Knobb of Dalton.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carter and Tena (South) Green, brother D.C. Green and sister Cartha Jo Miller.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 4 to 7 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - JACKSON CHAPEL 5850 Wales Ave. N.W. Memorial service will follow beginning at 7 P.M.
