Ronald R. Holla, 76 of Jackson Twp. passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center.

He was born December 8, 1938 in Massillon the son of the late Roscoe and Lucille (Blobik) Holla.

He was a veteran of the Army.
Ronald was a retired steel worker.

Ronald volunteered with the Jackson Fire Department during the 1970s.  He enjoyed NASCAR, airplanes, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by daughter Pamela (William) Clause of N. Canton; sons Richard (Connie) Holla of Massillon, Russell (Wendy) Holla of Canton, Steven (Lisa) Holla of Massillon and Scott (Joyce) Holla of Massillon, nine grandchildren, two great-grandsons; siblings, Donna (Harold) Thompson, David Holla, Janet Boring, Jo Ann (Jim) Moore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy J. Holla (Oct. 8, 2013), sister, Patricia Mick.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Heitger Funeral Home  Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, Massillon from 10am to 12pm.

Ronald's final place of rest will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman with military honors at 1pm.
