October 11, 1931 – July 7, 2014
Ronald A. Naugle, 82 of Massillon passed away July 7, 2014 at the Compassionate Care Center in Jackson Twp.
He was born October 11, 1931 in Manns Choice, PA the son of the late, Jacob A. and Minerva B. (Turner) Naugle.
He was a Marine veteran during the Korean Conflict.
He retired as a maintenance supervisor from Timken after 35 years.
Ronald was a 1949 State Champion Basketball Player for Allegheny High School in Maryland, he continued his love of sports playing fumbleball, softball, bowling, and was inducted into the Stark County Amateur Sports Hall of Fame. He spent many summers fishing in Canada with good friends. He was a member of the Senior Golf Association of Stark County.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eugenia "Jeanie" Naugle, daughter, Lynn Naugle of Canton; nephew, James Ochsenfeld, who made the last 10 months possible; great-nephew and bowling buddy, Matthew Ross; and numerous other nieces and nephews who were loved very much.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his sisters, Geraldine Kvester, Louise Minnick, Mildred Greaver, and Irene Golden.
As per his wishes there will be no services.
