Roseanne (Marks) Scharon, 88, of Massillon and more recently Fort Mill, SC, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022.  She was born March 3, 1934 to Francis Parr and Roscoe Marks.  Roseanne married Robert Scharon on October 15, 1955. She was a beautiful and loving mother as well as Nana to 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Massillon.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert, Roseanne is survived by her children Julie (Joe) Chovan of Cincinnati, Jodi (Greg) Pedrotty of Fort Mill, Robert of Massillon, and Diane (John) Giua of North Canton; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her step-sisters Shirley (Terry) Humphreys and Linda Marks.
Roseanne was a proud graduate of Massillon City School of Nursing and practiced as an RN for many years.   Roseanne concluded her career with the Massillon City Health Department as the director of the Massillon WIC program, eventually retiring in 1999.   Following retirement, Roseanne remained busy by volunteering at Massillon Community Hospital and working the polls for multiple elections.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at St. Mary's Church in Massillon, Ohio from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens cemetery.
