Ruth A. Lowe, 74 of Massillon passed away Friday November 18, 2011 at Aultman Hospital after a battle with cancer.

She was born June 13, 1937 in Richie County, WV the daughter of the late Bud and Ada (Moore) Border.

She was a homemaker for the last 35 years.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 36 years, Clifford Lowe; sons Bob Valentine of Cleveland, Jerry Valentine of Massillon, step son and wife, Larry and Debby Lowe of Massillon, step daughter Nancy Stokes of Chicago; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gene and Donald Border; two sisters, Loretta and Margaret; two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE, at 2 PM with Glenn Hawkins officiating.

Visitation will be an hour prior to the service from 1 PM to 2 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at East Greenville Cemetery.
