Sandra "Sandy" Hummel, age 77, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home.

She was born January 19, 1939, in Flat Rock, Ohio the daughter of Russell and Vivian (Frost) Keller.

Sandy retired from Ecko Products after 15 years of service. Along with her husband, she previously owned Bud and Sandy's Tavern on Erie.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and her many trips to the casino.

Sandy is survived by four sons, Lenny (Debbie) Hummel, Scott Hummel, Todd (Cheryl) Hummel, Ken (Sonja) Hummel; brother, Gordon Keller; sister, Rita Merhman; daughter-in-law, Gretchen Hummel; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hummel; son, Jeff Hummel; brother, Dale Keller.

A graveside service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 11:15 am.
