Scott H. Kanney, age 78 of Perry Twp., passed away Friday, September 21, 2018.
He was born September 17, 1940, in Massillon, the son of the late Howard and Isabel (Moyer) Kanney.
Scott was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era.
He was a training coordinator for the former Republic Steel Corporation.
He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ and Hall of Fame Fitness Club for 42 years.
Scott is survived by his wife of 48 years, Susanna (Douglass) Kanney, daughter, Jennifer (Cliff) Beebe; brother, John H. (Barbara) Kanney; sister, Sue (Jesse)Arnold and grandchildren Matthew Scott Beebe and Alex Curtis Beebe.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Grace United Church of Christ, 933 Main Ave W, Massillon, at 11 A.M. with Rev. Jim Painting officiating.
Calling hours will be held prior to the service at the church from 10 to 11 A.M.
Burial will be later at the convenience of the family in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with Military Honors
