Scott Edward Kemp, age 50, of Massillon, passed away suddenly Saturday, April 30, 2022.
He was born September 7, 1971, in Canton.  He was an Army veteran. He received his Master's degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University.
Scott worked for Summit County Children's Services for 12 years and had been a supervisor for the last seven years.
He enjoyed scuba diving, riding his motorcycle, driving his Corvette, boating on the pontoon boat, loved fishing especially with his brother, camping with his family, and living his life to the fullest.
Scott is survived by his wife, Kelly (Oakleaf) Kemp; son, Justice Kemp; daughters, Angelica Kemp and Rosea Kemp; granddaughter, Willow Dickerson;  mother, Diane (Yannayon) Kemp;  brother, William Thomas Kemp, Jr.; sister, Lisa Ericson of Seattle, Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Andrew.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, Massillon at 12:00 pm with Rev. Nick Nicholson officiating.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
