Stella A. Kiko, age 88, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, March 5, 2012.

She was born in Massillon, on March 14, 1923, daughter of the late Stanley and Bernice (Jasinski) Makowski.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Christian Mothers of St. Joseph's. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing euchre and bowling on leagues.

Stella is survived by her son Douglas Kiko, daughters and sons-in-law Karla Jo and Merle Wolgamott and Denice and David Brumfield all of Massillon, sisters Genny Egan and Heddy Osborn both of Canton, Joanne Dottavio of Massillon and Alice Holton of Annaheim, CA, eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Karl who died in 1989, son Larry who died in 1978, brothers John, Teddy, Ed and Richard Makowski, and a great-granddaughter Ashley Ann Wolgamott.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 10 A.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel with Rev. Raymond Paul officiating. Burial of cremains will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
