Steven Patrick Glenn, 76 of Massillon, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 17, 2025 in his home after an extended illness.
Son of the late Elmer and Cornelia Glenn, Steve was born on December 6, 1948 in Dover, Ohio.
Steve worked most of his life as an autobody technician, both while he resided in California and after returning to Ohio. He was employed by Downtown Ford and City Body in Canton, Ohio, as well as other body shops throughout his career. He enjoyed restoring automobiles. He also enjoyed fixing and tinkering with clocks, small engines, and anything that needed fixed. When Steve was not diligently working on automobiles or other projects, he enjoyed spending time with his animals, especially Rosie and Kitty Girl. Steve was a dedicated father and grandfather, showing selflessness and always providing and caring for his family
In addition to his wife of 18 years, Diana Amstutz Glenn, whom he married on August 6, 2006, he is survived by daughter, Lynda (Paul) Alexonshk, son, Christopher Glenn, and step-son, Travis (Becky) Murphy; eleven grandchildren; Brandon, Deanna, William, and Emily Glenn, Vince (Amanda), Tiffany, and Sarah Marchant, Wes (Angela) Alexonshk, Maison, Jaden, and Carson Murphy; seven great-grandchildren; Aaden, Ashton, Atreus, Elijah, Dante, Nadiya, Tetiana; a sister, Margaret Marnin.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Cornelia, his wife of 36 years, Martha "Mardi" Glenn, brother, James Glenn and sister Rose Kraft.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 31, 2025 from 1pm to 4pm at First Christian Church - Heritage Hall, 6900 Market Ave N., North Canton, OH 44721.
The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care for their exceptional care and support of Steve and his family.
