Sue Ann Cottrell, age 78 of Massillon, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center.
She was born May 14, 1947, in Amma, WV, the daughter of the late Dana and Mary Susan (Short) Myers.
Sue is survived by two sons, Bobby J. Cottrell, Jr., Dana Lee Cottrell; two daughters, Jo Ann Cottrell, Tina Marie Starcher; four brothers, Danny James (Carrolyn) Myers, Louis Myers, Joey Dee (Carrolyn) Myers, Mike (Inez) Myers; sister, Donna Jean (Roger) Foreman; brother-in-law Jimmy Lawson; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Cottrell Sr. and sister, Dana Karen Lawson.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, 639 1st St NE, Massillon at 2 PM.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 1 PM to 2 PM.
Her final place of rest will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
