Obituary

Taylor  Kennady Heston, Jr., a kind and loving man, born February 7, 1931 in Cranford, NJ, passed away peacefully  May 13, 2018 at his home in Hills and Dales Village.
Preceeded in death by parents Taylor Kennady Heston Sr. and Frances Beardslee, sister Caroline Apgar.
He attended Pingry School in NJ where he was captain of the football team.  He graduated from Lehigh University with an ME degree and was a member of Chi Psi Fraternity.   Upon graduation he served in the U.S.A.F. during the Korean Conflict as a  1st. Lieutenant.
T.K. (Teke) is survived by his loving wife  Faye,  brothers; Philip (Janet) Wallings Heston and Edgar (Elizabeth) Beardslee Heston, children James (Lillian) Kennady Heston, Nancy (Ivan) Zenovic and Paul (Michele) Heston, grand-children, Kaylee (John) Z. Meyer, Paige Zenovic, Taylor Heston and Hunter Heston, step-daughters, Amy (Mark) Ward, Ann (Edward) Richardson, step-grandchildren, Taylor (Emily) Ward, Erin (Aaron) Miller, Dr. Dana (Dr. Stan) Soehnlen, Keri A. Ward, Dr. Amanda (Dr. Jason) Pedrick, Dr. Olivia Ramsey, Andrew L. Richardson, and great-grandchildren, Morgan, Rowan, Gracie and Finn.
Teke was employed by Ingersol Rand before starting his own company Hydrothrift Corp. in Massillon.  He enjoyed many years of fishing and golf on Hilton Head Island, SC where he was a member of Sea Pines Country Club.  He enjoyed sailing on Atwood Lake and fishing in Canada.  Teke was a member of  Brookside, Oakwood, Glenmoor CC  and Pine Lake Trout Club.  He also enjoyed the winter months in Naples, FL, where he was a member of Moorings and Naples Country Clubs.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 1 P.M. at St. Stephens Martyr Lutheran Church, 4600 Fulton Drive N.W., Canton, 44718 where he was a member.   Visitation will begin at Noon prior to the service.
Memorial contributions honoring his memory may be made to, Youth Mission Project of St. Stephens Martyr Lutheran Church or to The Food Pantry Program of Christ Presbyterian Church - 530 Tuscarawas Street, W., Canton, Ohio  44702.
