Thomas C. Baxter, age 52 of Akron, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013. He was born in Canton, Aug. 22, 1960. He was a graduate of Jackson High School and the University of Akron where he earned his computer science degree and a BS degree. He was manager of operations for Ohio Clips LLC (a Great Clips Franchise).

Thomas will be sadly missed by his mother and step-father Donna (Baxter) Froelich and David Froelich of Jackson Twp., his father and step-mother Gerald E. and Maria Baxter of Canton. His is also survived by brothers Gerald and Luca Baxter both of Canton, Uncles and Aunts, James (Paula) Bracken of Massillon, William (Linda) Bracken of Greenville, SC, Cynthia (Timothy) Render of Jackson Twp. and Rebecca (Timothy) Baum of Dalton, many cousins, second cousins and his beloved dog 'Astra'.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 11 A.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Av. N.W., Massillon, 44646 with Rev. Tim Hull officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, Suite 200, Bethesda, MD 20814 in honor of Derek Bannister.
