Thomas  P. Hoosic, age 79 of Jackson Twp, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018.
He was born December 8, 1938, in Swoyersville, PA, son of the late John and Anna (Shedlarski) Hoosic.
Thomas was an engineering graduate of Penn State University and received his engineering masters degree from The University of Akron.
Thomas retired from The Babcock and Wilcox Company after 32 years of service.
He was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his grandkids.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 57 years, Charlotte (Kemzura) Hoosic; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Marcia Hoosic; daughter, Karen Carlson; brother and sister-in-law, John and Dolores Hoosic; sister, Bernadine Heiser; grandchildren, Alex Starosta, Angela Starosta, Erik Carlson, Mia Carlson, and Zoey Hoosic; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Suzanne Hoosic Starosta.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
