Timothy Paul Gepfrey, age 61, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at his residence in Perry Township after a brief battle with cancer.

He was born January 23, 1951 in Massillon, the son of the late William Paul and Eleanor Marie (Smith) Gepfrey.

Tim served in the Air Force for 10 years.

He was a prep cook at Outback Steakhouse for 17 years.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Timothy is survived by his wife of 36 years, Deb (Rope) Gepfrey, daughter, Jocelyn (James) Gaul, grandchildren, Jamie and Abby Gaul, brother, Ron (Barb) Gepfrey, sister, Diane (Richard) Hinkle, sister-in-law, Mickey (Jim) Miller, brother-in-law, Rolly Shanklin, brother-in-law, Dan (Tonie) Carr, many nieces and nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his niece, Jennifer Carr, mother-in-law, June Rope, sister-in-law, Pat Shanklin.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 24 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at St Mary's Catholic Church, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mike Seifert celebrant.

Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, Massillon, Ohio with military honors by American Legion Post #221.
