Timothy Wayne Mishler, age 68, of Massillon, Ohio, walked into the loving arms of his Savior Jesus on Monday, November 25, 2024 after a 22-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a 1974 graduate of Tuslaw High School and received his BA in Bible and MA in church history from Bob Jones University. His entire work life was dedicated to the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ in churches in South Carolina, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, and Ohio, with the last 30 years at Calvary Baptist Church of Moffitt Heights in Massillon. Tim could often be found leading music at the church, singing in the choir, or adding his trumpet playing to "When the Trumpet of the Lord Shall Sound." His many hobbies included following Cleveland sports, Ohio State, and collecting sports memorabilia, stamps, and coins. He loved to plan travel, including many family vacations on long road trips out West or to the beach; his heart was full of love for missions, and he treasured his trips to serve the Lord in Portugal, Singapore, Indonesia, Kenya and China. His favorite activities were the times he spent with his family—on vacation, at family gatherings, or playing golf with his sons.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley J. Mishler. He is survived by his college sweetheart and wife of 45 years, Victoria Kendall Mishler; father, Wayne G. Mishler; siblings Thomas (Toni) Mishler, Ted (Lisa) Mishler, and Tammy (Scott) Himes, sister-in-law Andrea Kendall; sons Timothy K. Mishler (Elizabeth); Trevor W. Mishler; Aaron Mishler; Dr. Andrew (Molly) Mishler; and Trenton Mishler; grandchildren Zemi, Calvin, Julian, Frida, Samuel, Charlotte, and his namesake, Jude Timothy, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces,  and nephews.

A service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church of Moffitt Heights, 11616 Sinclair Street, SW, Massillon, 44647, at 10:30 A.M.  Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, November 30, from 6:00-8:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 11616 Sinclair Street S.W., Massillon, Ohio  44647.
