Timothy Todd Walter, age 55 of Jackson Twp., passed away after a long illness on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic.

He was born April 3, 1958 in Akron, the son of the late Carl Walter and Jenifer (Bellenir) Chapko.

He was a retired pipefitter with Local #219.

Tim was a member of St. Anthony's in Canton. He loved to fish and spend time with his eight grandchildren.

Timothy is survived by loving wife of 33 years, Heidi Walter; sons, Kyle (Annie) Walter and Jonathan (Jeska) Walter; daughter, Rachel Walter; cat, Monkey; grandchildren, Grace, Alex, Mary Claire, Joey, Tommy, Cecilia, Teresa, and Jude. He will also be missed by stepfather, Joe Chapko; brothers, Larry (Jennifer) Henderson, Carl (Suki) Walter, and John (Pat) Walter; sisters, Donna Nolan, Linda (John) Manka, and Jill Weingart; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Walter.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 24 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at St. Anthony's, 1530 11th Street SE, Canton at 10:00 AM with Rev. Thomas Bishop celebrant.
