Tonya L. McCarty, age 55 of Massillon passed away March 28, 2026 at home surrounded by family.

She was born October 16, 1970 in Canton.

Tonya loved to shop, travel and being a new grandma. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was survived by her husband, Wayne McCarty; son, Kyle (Brie) Salehi; grandson, Roman Salehi; sister, Missy (Miles) Leapline; niece, Nicolette Piatko; brother-in-law, Bob (Jan) McCarty; mother-in-law, Mary Jane McCarty; aunts, Ellie Lanning and Laura Combs; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Collinsworth, step mother, Peggy Collinsworth, mother, Carol Nelson; step father, Larry Nelson.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Brookfield Cemetery at 1PM followed by lunch at Lighthouse Baptist Temple. (8160 Manchester Ave SW Navarre oh 44662)
