Valorie J. Lockhart, age 69 of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Affinity Medical Center.
She was born November 5, 1946 in Massillon, the daughter of the late Willard J. and Dorothy P. (Perry) Lantz.
Val retired from Massillon Community Hospital where she was a respiratory therapist for 12 years.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Eagles FOE 2370.   Val was a devoted wife, mom, grandma, and sister.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Michael Lockhart Sr.; children, Kimberly (Joseph) Hufgard, Lisa (Jerry) Day, Jennifer (Mark) Johnson, Dr. Michael (Kelly) Lockhart Jr.; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, five nieces and nephews; sister, Pamela (Larry) Fichter; brother-in-law, David (Pat) Lockhart Sr.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Heitger Funeral Home Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE, at 10:30 with Rev. Edward Gretchko officiating.  Calling hours will be from 9:30am to 10:30am prior to the service.
Burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Canton.
