Veronica M. Jones, age 78 of Massillon, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 following a period of declining health. She was born January 23, 1943, in Cleveland the daughter of the late Ernest and Margaret (Ludu) Lazin. Veronica was an avid golfer and had worked in the pro shop at Tam O'Shanter for 19 years.  She was a great cook and baker. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Veronica is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Kelly) Floom and grandson, Wyatt Floom. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert D. Jones with whom she had shared 48 years of marriage and one brother, Ernie. Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Gretchko celebrant. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Her final place of rest will be Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
