IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Joseph
Hargrove
September 19, 1935 – September 2, 2020
William Joseph Hargrove William "Bill" Hargrove was reunited with his son, William James Hargrove, on 9-2-2020. During his life, Bill created a legacy of love and laughter. He loved silly jokes, stories, and songs. He shared them first with a young woman, Alice Stanze. They married in 1955 and during their 65-year marriage, built the family that today remembers a lovable and fun husband, dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Bill is survived by Alice and three of their four children, Dan (Cindy), Lori (Manny), and Thomas; grandchildren, Scott (Laura), Amanda (James) , Bryan (Dina), Heather, Sarah (Ruben), Aaron (Tanya), Branndea (Robert); and great-grandchildren, Bryce, Makayden, Madisyn, Brody, MaKenna, Suzanna, Kloe, Brody Michael, Brennan, Emily, Ryann, Gwendalyn, Thea, and Micah.
Bill was diagnosed in 2013 with Parkinson's Disease and it was very important to him that a cure be found. It is for this reason that Alice and the family request in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, P.O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014.
A graveside service will be held at Newman Creek Cemetery, 14411 Orrville St NW, North Lawrence, OH 44666, on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 11am. Condolences to the family may be made at www.heitger.com
