William A. Klingbeil passed away September 29, 2026, at the age of 87.
He is survived by the love of his life, Carol J. Klingbeil (nee Phillips), his children, William A. Klingbeil II, Mark J. Klingbeil (Annie Yuan), Sheryl Klingbeil (Joe Ybarra), and Kathleen A. Hodge (need Klingbeil) (Richard Taylor), his grandchildren, Meagan M. Klingbeil, Travis W. Hodge (Elizabeth Hodge), Elizabeth R. Ventura (nee Klingbeil), Nicole G. Rusk, Erik (Wolfie) M. Klingbeil, Nathan A. Taylor, and his great grandchildren Jerry Gaydash, Sylas Gaydash, William Lirette, Asiel Ventura, Esme Ventura, Brileigh Clark, Cataleya Guiterrez, Lyanna Hodge, and Xavi Guiterrez.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Doris (nee Faber) Klingbeil, his brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Pat Klingbeil, his other brother, David A. Klingbeil, his grandchildren, Mark J. Klingbeil II, Matthew P. Klingbeil, Desiree A. Hodge, and his great grandchild, Pandora Klingbeil.
He was a Marine (once a Marine, always a Marine). He had a deep love for his family and friends. His work as a Logistics Manager spanned decades, and he retired after many years of working for Babcock & Wilcox. He loved his job and missed it greatly after he retired. Bill also enjoyed traveling with his wife, Carol.
A Celebration of Life is to be held November 7, 2026 between 1 and 3 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 336 Market Street W., Canal Fulton, Ohio 44614.
