Obituary

William G. Ruhman "Bill" passed away at the age of 76 on October 23rd, 2022, after a short illness. Dad was a fighter and fought hard for 17 days. He had his daughter and son at his bedside when he passed.

Bill was a graduate of North Canton High School. Bill was a highly skilled Tool and Die Maker for over 43 years working for X-Cel Mold, Ohio Machine, Pride Die Castings, Teledyne Monarch, and McAfee Tool and Die. Bill was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 2223 in North Canton for over 25 years where he enjoyed coneys on Saturdays for many years with his son and then grandson.

Bill had a number of passions: he loved to play and watch golf and was a Cleveland sports fan along with the Buckeyes. He loved working with his hands and was always there to work on or fix anything for his family at a moment's notice.

His greatest passion was for his grandkids. He was a great "Papa" and never missed a grandchild's sporting event, school activity, or just helping out carpooling the kids around. Bill was the best "Papa" and father we could have ever wanted.

He is proceeded in death by his brother James Ruhman, his mother Helen "Midge" Ruhman, and father Louis "Hank" Ruhman.

Bill is survived by his son Jeff (Jenny) and his daughter Nikki (Brad Hively), and his three grandchildren Anna, Samantha, and Charlie.

Bill will be laid to rest at the North Canton Cemetery alongside his parents.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Bill for friends and family at a date to be determined. Friends and family will be reached out to with celebration specifics. Our family would like to thank everybody for their prayers and all the doctors and nurses from the Cleveland Clinic for their tireless effort.

Condolences to the family may be made here on our tribute page.
