William G "Pete" Stonebrook, age 72, formerly of Jackson Twp,  died Saturday, August 29, 2015.

He was born October 22, 1942, the son of the late William N. and Ruth (Zuber) Stonebrook.

Pete was a member of St. Joseph Church in Massillon.  He loved animals and attending the Stark County Fair.

He had been employed at Whitey's Gas Station in Jackson Twp., West Stark Workshops and Midwest Innovations.

He is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Tom and Cindy Stonebrook and Joe and Tina Stonebrook all of Jackson Twp, sister Sally Mowad of Powell, Ohio, numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Joe Mowad.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, Sept 2, 2015 at 12 Noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Raymond Paul celebrant.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Midwest Health, 107 Tommy Hendrick Drive, Massillon, Ohio  44647.
