Willmina Carr, age 83, died Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Amherst Meadows Nursing Home after long battle with Alzheimers.

She was born March 30, 1928 in New Philadelphia, Ohio and was daughter of the late William and Loretta (Jones) Greer.

She was a member of Massillon Baptist Temple and former member of Massillon Woman's Club and TOPS. She was a lover of animals especially her pets. She was a beloved wife and mother.

Willmina is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Frank and Mary Carr Jr. or Massillon, David and Debbie Carr of Cleveland, William and Donna Carr of Columbus, son Brian Lee Carr of Massillon, daughter and son-in-law Mary Ann and Brian Maylor of Massillon, brother and sister-in-law William and Judy Greer Jr. of Richmond, Ohio, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank V. Carr Sr. who died July 13, 2008 and sisters Barbara Copleland and Virginia McFerren.

Her final place of rest will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
