Wilma 'June' Fisher, age 93, of North Canton, passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 2012.

She was born September 28, 1918, in New Philadelphia, Ohio daughter of the late Leo and Lucy (Weber) Gowins.

June was the beloved wife of the late Sidney G. Fisher and dear mother of Helen (Donald) Milbrodt of Canton, David (Karen) Fisher of Massillon and Mark Fisher of Newcomerstown, much loved grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents and husband, June was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters, beloved grandson Peter Joel Milbrodt and great-grandson Gavin Fisher.

June retired from North Canton School System where she was a cook. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. She enjoyed sewing, doll making and gardening. Her love, laughter and talents will remain as forever memories to her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Perry Christian Church at 139 Perry Dr. N.E., Canton on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 12 Noon with Rev. Doug Wiles officiating. Visitation will be at the church beginning at 11 A.M. prior to the service. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
