Zivka Sobevski, age 88 of Jackson Twp., passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2012 following a brief illness. She was born December 23, 1923 in Macedonia and had lived in the United States since 1989.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. She was a member of St. Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church.

She is survived by her son Dimce (Gorica) Sobevski of Jackson Twp., daughters Darinka (Pero) Konjanovski of Florida and Dobrica (Dimko) Kostoski of Jackson Twp., sister Lepa Galovski of Macedonia, grandchildren Linda, Vesna and Nikolche Sobevski, Michael (Tatjana) Konjanovski, Tony (Debra) Konjanovski, Sendi (Saso) Talevski, Tajna (Goran) Jumrukovski and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Pando Sobevski who died in 2009, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church, Green, Ohio with The Very Rev. Zoran Zdravev. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Massillon.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Sept 20, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. N.W., Massillon.
