Alvin Edward Brown

Alvin Edward Brown, age 66, of Tuscarawas, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Truman House.
He was born August 31,1955, in Monte Vista, Colorado the son of the late Jack and Geneva (Hull) Brown.
He was a veteran of the Navy during the Viet Nam Era. 
Alvin was a retired machinist and a very good mechanic.  His last job was at MPS in New Philadelphia, making parts for pickup trucks, where he was treated like one of the family. 
He was an avid race driver and fan. His racing partner and good friend was Lenny Orr of Tuscarawas.  
Alvin is survived by Kimberly of the home; four children, Nina Brown Vandenberg of San Manuel, AZ., Carolyn Rae and husband Tim Turner of Queen Creek, AZ, Terrance Joseph Brown (Jessica Chimenti) of Chagrin Falls, Eric Andrew Brown (Mary McAndrew) of Newberry, Ohio; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; brother and  sister-in-law, Lloyd  and Tammy Brown of Casa Grande, AZ; sister-in-law, Mrs. Janice Cummings of Dennison. 
He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Callie and Johnnie Chabarria and  bother-in-law, Charles Cummings.
No services are planned at this time.
Alvin was a very kind man and enjoyed helping others.  His wish was for peace, and to be kind to one another.  He had a deep love for music and some of his favorites were CCR, Jackson Browne, and Little Feat.
