Charles Quiner Obituary

Charles "Chuck" Quiner was born December 20, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa.  He passed away on May 24, 2021 peacefully in his sleep.

He was a graduate of Iowa State University and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

In 1962 he moved to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to take a job with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company as a chemical engineer.  At one point, he was transferred to the plant in Northern Ireland for three years. He concluded his career with Goodyear in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Chuck was not one to sit still for very long so he continued to work.  His last and lasting legacy is the work he did at Shiloh World Changers with his wife Jeanette.  Together they helped many people, too many to count.  Chuck will be missed but his legacy will go on.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Jo Quiner Jenson.

He is survived by his wife Jeanette (Sigler) Quiner; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Ellen Quiner, grandchildren, Amanda Thompson and husband Mike Thompson, Jason Quiner, Sarah Hickey and her husband Tim Hickey, Josh Gier, Tricia Broome and husband A.J. Broome, great-grandchildren, Gunner, Tyler, Layden, Lainey, Emma, Anna, Junior and Poe.
